    Our manor house has large get-ready spaces for you and your fiancé. The entire top floor is your dedicated bridal suite, complete with professional hair and makeup stations. The lower level is reserved for your fiancé and party, equipped with pool table, bar room, TV, games, and full-bath access.

    Our wedding package is one of the area’s most affordable and transparent. We provide a full 12 hours of venue access with exclusive use of the entire property for you and your guests. We have many décor pieces and packages included. PLUS, spend your wedding night in our romantic honeymoon cabin.

    Built in 1827, the manor house provides an elegant, historic backdrop for your special day. The meticulously kept grounds - including a willow-framed pond, fountain, footbridge, long tree-lined drive, and mature landscaping - offer numerous spots for your photo memories.

Venue Rental Includes:

Affordable wedding venue in MD.

  • You will have exclusive use of our Historic Manor House, Romantic Honeymoon Log Cabin, event tent, and beautiful grounds for a full 12 hours, with early access for the bridal party.

  • Our beautiful bridal suite includes a full bath, multiple lighted hair and makeup stations, and multiple additional rooms and spaces to accommodate your wedding party. You can access this area as early as 7:00 am on your wedding day.

  • Your fiancé and friends will relax and get ready in our lower level suite with bar area, pool table, video games, and full bath.

  • Our Romantic Honeymoon Log Cabin offers a delightful and quiet retreat from the bustle of your wedding day. Stay overnight until 10:00 am the next morning.

  • Choose from several locations on our grounds for your wedding ceremony, with a backdrop of fields, trees, or overlooking the Willow Pond with fountain. We also have several covered options to accommodate any weather situation.

  • Starting at 10:00 am Sunday - Thursday and 11:00 am Friday and Saturday (music must be off by 10:00 pm Friday/Saturday, and 9:00 pm on Sundays and weekdays)

  • Host your reception in our clear-span tent (no center poles), with elegant cathedral windows, chandeliers, parameter string lighting and Trex deck floors. Our tent is also equipped with heaters and chillers.

  • Our ceremony sites, reception tent, and restroom trailer are all handicapped accessible. We also have a golf cart to transport any guests with mobility issues.

  • We have a clear process, communication, and planning tools to make your day of event go smoothly.

  • We include a variety of outdoor games you can select for your guests to enjoy during your event - e.g. giant Jenga, Corn Hole, Connect Four and more.

  • We have several backdrops and props that will be perfect spots for your guests to take pics to commemorate their attendance.

  • We provide a number of in-stock décor pieces that you can use at no cost, including serving pieces, signs, gift table boxes, table numbers, centerpieces, and other items.

  • We have several ceremony pieces to choose from as a backdrop for your ceremony. These can be located at any of our ceremony cites and can also double as a backdrop to your head table for the reception.

*Friday weddings have the option to book 3-9 pm on Thursday for an additional $1,000. Use this time to decorate, rehearse, host your rehearsal dinner (up to 40 guests). You get 2 days for less than the price of a Saturday. Does not include overnight stay. See below for options with lodging.

    • Noon Friday-Noon Sunday, including 2 overnight stays accommodating up to 12 people. Enjoy a relaxed weekend with plenty of time for set-up, enjoying family and friends, and a leisurely exit.

    • 3:00 pm Thursday-11:00 pm Friday

    • Overnight stay for up to 12 in our Manor House and Honeymoon Cabin on Thursday night (plus standard overnight stay Friday night for the couple)

    • Decorate, rehearse, and host your rehearsal dinner for up to 40 guests onsite Thursday, host wedding event on Friday,

Weddings with Overnight Lodging

    • If the day following your wedding is unbooked 90 days out, you may book the Manor House for an overnight stay for family or friends after the wedding. (10 guest max)

Maryland charges a 6.00% sales tax on a portion of the rental.

Pricing subject to change at any time. Your contract rate and terms will be based on the date the contract is written, not the date of the tour. (Sometimes couples tour weeks or months before they book, or before we open a future year calendar for booking. If there has been a change in rate, the contracted investment/terms will be based on the date we wrote the contract, not the date of the tour.)

The Christian Royer House has no hidden fees. Your rental fee includes everything listed on our inclusions list.
